Description

It has a “Grow with Me” infant and body support that can be adjusted to fit your growing child and this seat will last from birth up to the age of four or 18kg. It secures via Isofix and the base is included in the price.

The eight-position adjustable head rest, three-position recline when either forward or rearward facing and newborn insert with removable sections mean you can adapt to your growing baby and have reassurance that they are comfortable whilst travelling. The Silver Cross motion full 360 swivel function enables you to have the seat either rearward or forward-facing. Because of its larger protective shell, your little one can ride rearward in comfort for longer. It also has side loading, for easy access when getting them in and out (with less fuss). We have a 1 year old currently in a Joie iSpin 360 which we absolutely love. We need to get a new car seat for our nanny's car, but we'd like to get something we would like to use ourselves in the event that we stop using the nanny in the future. We plan to probably have another child at some point in the next couple of years. Key specs – Group: 0/0+; Item weight: 2.8kg; Attachment method: Isofix or seatbelt; Additional features: Pushchair attachment available, no-rethread harness The other downside of the all in one seats is that the boosters on them are really bulky and huge due to having to perform the job of a harnessed seat earlier on. The best part of swapping to a booster seat is that you get to ditch the bulky seat and swap to this more lightweight and easy one, so you shoot yourself in the foot a bit by going for an all stages one. There are simple to remove inserts, crafted from soft natural bamboo fabrics, and an easily adjustable headrest that grows with your baby, so they’ll always be in the most comfortable position. Peace of Mind The Nextkid is a smart and comfortable booster seat that should keep your child safe and comfortable until they can safely sit in a car with just a seatbelt. Looking for a car seat that’s the ultimate in safety and lasts for every stage of your child’s growth? The Silver Cross Motion All Size 360 is the only car seat you need. With 360° rotation, it adapts effortlessly with your child as they grow, keeping them safe, secure and comfortable from birth until approximately 12 years of age. The Q series dummies are much better engineered than the older P series dummies which means their level of movement is much more lifelike and the offer better repeatability. In ADAC testing, the lower the score, the better the rating. With a crash test score of 2.5, the Motion All Size 360 is somewhat ahead of the competitor products in the all-stage category. An impressive safety score together with the 360 rotation and large range of use (Birth to 12 years) the Motion offers the best all round safety, features, and value!

Samantha: The two major advantages that this Silver Cross motion seat has above others for me is the superior safety features and the exceptional quality of the seat, it looks and feels like the best of the best. The seat looks sturdy and secure when fitted. The seat material is just beautiful and soft, it is exceptional quality and both my children who tested out the car seat loved it. For me the safety of the seat is paramount, and I have previously spent hours researching the best car seats when purchasing for my own children. This car seat has both of the features that I would look for which is extended rear-facing and the R129 Isize regulation fit, so I can be confident that my child will be safe, and the seat has gone through rigorous crash testing. After hearing many horror stories about cheap car seats, I would recommend spending as much as required on a safe and secure seat. It is your child’s life and well worth paying extra to keep them safe and give you peace of mind. What changes would you make to this product? Be aware that it’s not advised to keep a baby in a car seat for longer than two hours. If your journey is longer than that, the NHS suggests pulling over and taking the child out for a short time before continuing on your way. What are the UK laws?

Kelly: I do feel that this product matches other similar products on the market in many ways so I would find it hard to separate this product as a stand out above the rest. I have experience using the Joie 360 and I have found both models to be very similar. I would perhaps say that the Silver Cross Model offers a slight edge in terms of comfort. My daughter seems to be sitting in a better position and as the product / Isofix isn't as chunky she has more room to stretch out our legs. The Maxi-Cosi Coral car seat fits via a separate FamilyFix3. This connects to the Isofix anchors in your car or it can be secured using the seat belt of your car. It’s not cheap and will only last until your baby is a year old (or 12kg), but we think it’s worth it. I've read on this forum that the Silver Cross should be avoided as a car seat trying to do too many things at once does it badly - but I can't actually find any evidence for this, it has the iSize certification and I don't believe it's been ADAC tested - can anybody shed any light on this? I don't know if I'm looking in the wrong place, but I can't actually seem to find detailed safety reports for any car seats other than those tested by ADAC? With over 140 years’ experience, Silver Cross crafts beautiful, contemporary prams, nursery furniture, babywear and car seats. Buy from a trusted British brand.

Sarah: Now my daughter has reached the ‘terrible twos’ she soon lets me know when she doesn’t want to do something – like being strapped into a car seat. So... long story short, I would probably get another Joie i-Spin, or a Britax Dualfix i-size, or maybe the Joie Spin Safe. Although that one isn't i-size, it does have the same pop out bits on the sides like the i-Spin does so it has better side impact safety than the original Joie 360. Or Recaro Salia is on offer at Uber Kids for a similar price point to all of these and the Silver Cross, the Recaro is a nice seat too. Sophie: The depth of the product is very deep, we have a large family car and the passenger seat has to be moved very far forward to accommodate the seat. I also think it would be handy to have a removable bar attachment to allow for toys to be added to keep smaller babies entertained, my daughter really missed this feature. Product Information ADAC test front impact (40mph) and side impact (31mph). More important than the speed tested is the rate of deceleration (how hard the impact is). ADAC test methods use more aggressive decelerations than the regulationIt goes without saying that all car seats should be fitted in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and guidance. This includes making sure you don’t use a seat for longer than you should. It may say it’s suitable up to the age of four, but all car seats are based on weight so if you have a chunky toddler, they may outgrow their seat long before this upper limit. ADAC score the car seat across 5 key areas, safety, ergonomics, chemical content, ease of cleaning, how easy it is to fit. Combining all of these to give an overall publicly available score We put the seat through its paces with a fairly tall five-year-old, who looked fully supported and secure once fastened in. The side wings delivered extra comfort when he fell asleep, offering a comfy place to support his head.

At Silver Cross, we’re meticulous about safety. The Motion All Size 360 has been rigorously tested to offer the best in protection. It’s the only car seat to meet the latest R129/03 In the UK, children are required by law to travel in a booster seat up to the age of 12 (or 135cm in height – whichever comes first). Axkid’s Nextkid is designed for this transition, with a comfortable padded seat with four-step expanding side wings, an adjustable headrest and super-soft fabric. The car seat is designed with a 5-point harness that secures your child safely in the seat and protects them during sudden stops or accidents. It also features an adjustable headrest and a removable infant insert that provides additional support for newborns. Looking for a car seat that’s the ultimate in safety and lasts for every stage of your child’s growth? The new Silver Cross Motion All Size 360 is the only car seat you need to buy.

Super-soft, anti-bacterial bamboo fabric that’s breathable and hypoallergenic, for the ultimate in comfort. I really value the spin feature so looking for a spin seat. I realise RF til 25kg is ideal but our child is of average weight and smaller height so I predict she will get to 4 years before 18kg after which I'd be happy for her to FF. The most recent addition to the law involves booster seat regulations, but it doesn’t actually affect you as a consumer. Instead, all newly released booster seats can only be made and sold to a child who is 4ft 1in or taller, or who weighs 22kg or more. Existing booster seats will still be valid in your car, so don’t worry about rushing out to buy brand-new seats. We spoke to these real parent testers to get their review...
