Description

An Original Leather is being used for binding this book with Golden Leaf Printing and designing on Spine, front and Back of the book with edge gilding. The Miss Flora McFlimsey book series by multiple authors includes books Miss Flora McFlimsey's Easter Bonnet, Miss Flora McFlimsey and the Baby New Year, Miss Flora McFlimsey's Birthday, and several more. Then one evening, when her murine friend tells her of the unusual goings on downstairs, and she realizes that it is Christmas Eve, Miss Flora, leaving her hermitage for the first time in years, sets out to see the Christmas tree, having an unexpected encounter with Santa Claus in the process, and finding her dearest wish granted. This masterpiece has been meticulously Reprinted in 2022, utilizing the invaluable guidance of the original edition published many years ago in 1949. It is a tale about an old doll in a toy cupboard in the attic who decides to see the Christmas Tree one more time thanks to the stories about it from Timothy Mouse.

The news stimulated Miss Flora to such an extent that she went downstairs and seated herself under the Christmas tree, old clothes, dust, and all. Old toys and dolls fascinated her all her life, and over the years she acquired an extensive collection. However, in certain instances, occasional blurriness, missing segments, or faint black spots might persist. This endearing little book has the shining simplicity and the ageless appeal that is felt in the best loved for children the world over. Original edition was published in [1949] and this unique edition is Reprinted in 2022 with the help of original edition.Presenting an Exquisite Leather-Bound Edition, expertly crafted by the prestigious organization "Rare Biblio" with Original Natural Leather that gracefully adorns the spine and corners. Product Disclaimer: Kindly be informed that, owing to the inherent nature of leather as a natural material, minor discolorations or textural variations may be perceptible.

Like Miss Flora McFlimsey's Halloween (the only other Miss Flora book I have read thus far), this felt a little dated to me, but still very sweet. WE HAVE MULTIPLE OPTIONS IN COLOR OF LEATHER RED, GREEN, BLUE, MAGENTA, TAN, DEEP BROWN, BLACK WITH DIFFERENT COLOR LABELS. If the original book was published in multiple volumes then this reprint is of only one volume, not the whole set. Originally published in 1949, and then reprinted in this 1988 edition, Miss Flora McFlimsey's Christmas Eve is the first of nine picture-books devoted to the adventures of this sweet, lady-like doll, whose name is taken from William Allen Butler's nineteenth-century children's poem, Nothing to Wear. Each article originally printed in this magazine is available here, complete and unedited from the historical print.

Product Disclaimer: Please be aware that because leather is a natural material, slight discoloration or change in texture may be visible. I loved this story of the little doll who has been forgotten in the attic by her (now-grown up) former owner, and finds a new child to love her one Christmas Eve. We eagerly await your feedback, hoping that you'll find it appealing and will generously share your thoughts and recommendations. Abandoned for many years in an attic, Miss Flora leads a lonely life, her only companion young Timothy Mouse, who visits her from time to time. We found this book important for the readers who want to know more about our old treasure so we brought it back to the shelves.

As an adult, she lived and worked in a studio on Madison Avenue, in New York City in the fall, winter and spring. The allure continues with Golden Leaf Printing that adds a touch of elegance, while Hand Embossing on the rounded spine lends an artistic flair. As this print on demand book is reprinted from a very old book, there could be some missing or flawed pages, but we always try to make the book as complete as possible. We give our best to give you the best book but in some cases we have to adjust few pages which are blur or missing or black spots.
