Description

The cream itself is very creamy and is similar to a face moisturizer which I was surprised at as most eye creams are gel based.

I’m on a mission to try out and review every single Lacura product out there and will let you as much unbiased information on the brand as possible. If the item comes direct from a manufacturer, it may be delivered in non-retail packaging, such as a plain or unprinted box or plastic bag. This isn't the first time I've used Aldi stuff - I've tried the caviar day cream before and the bog standard blue pot night cream. I use the rejuvelate cream, I did prefer the previous version but its as good as a lot of more expensive ones. For me, the absolute winner of this face wash, was the fact that it was perfume and soap free, which was perfect for someone like me.

The day cream has an unpleasant smell and makes my eyes sore if used in that areaUsing this cream near my eyes resulted in sore eyes. I've always gotten on well with C Firma, and it's served my skin well (along with Alumier MD C+E, another favourite of mine). I know there are some negative comments (see below), but I found it to be super pigmented and I like the glitter! In terms of the packaging for these products, there is no similarity which I was surprised at as their name is so similar so I thought they'd go with similar packaging as well. Both the Simple and Lacura facial wipes are fragrance-free, no artificial perfumes, colours, harsh chemicals etc so are OK to use with sensitive skin.

Lacura's lathered up nicely, allowing me to really massage into the skin and it did a stellar job at removing stubborn make-up and daily grime build-up. And that's not all the discounted chain is known for, as they have also branched out into the beauty and skincare world with the launch of their in house brand Lacura. We have selected four of Aldi's skincare products and compared them to their dupes of branded products to see if Aldi really does give them a run for their money. Bursting with caviar extract and hyaluronic acid, Aldi’s moisturiser firms and nourishes skin while boosting radiance. It instantly makes the eye feel more hydrated, although we’re yet to notice any reduction in how dark our under eye circles are.You know what, I’ll stick with the Lacura one, because even though I slightly prefer using the Benefit one – you just can’t justify spending so much more money. While the original AVEENO cream isn’t that expensive, it’s hard to overlook just how affordable the Aldi version is. Its formula is ultra fine and — unlike the original L’Oreal pick — comes with provitamin B5 which hydrates and strengthens hair follicles, leading to healthy hair growth. There's been a change in the formulaI've used this product for years with no reaction what so ever, it was great, now I have red blotchy, hot skin itchy skin, with bumps under the skin. So, I decided to test out some of Aldi's most popular skincare products that promised the skincare fanatic in me glowing results for much less.
